Diagnostic Assessments

Infant child getting ear examined

Infant Audiological Assessment

Hearing assessment using Visual Reinforcement Objective Audiometry (VROA) is for infants from approximately 7 months to 3 years of age . The child is conditioned to look at a puppet or lights when he/she hears a sound presented through a loudspeaker.  It is a non-invasive technique and the little ones love it!

Play Audiometry

Hearing assessment for children ages 3-5 years. The child wears headphones to listen to a sound. The child is conditioned to respond to the sound by building a block tower or placing a puzzle piece when a sound is heard.
Your child might be able to identify pictures of words or repeat the words heard through the headphones for speech testing.
